QuickPass All-in-One Setup & ThreatLocker Preparation
- Install QuickPass
- Deploy and install the QuickPass application on the designated system.
- Ensure installation completes successfully without errors.
- Verify QuickPass Agent ID at Location Level
- Log into the QuickPass management console.
- Navigate to the Location where the agent was deployed.
- Confirm that the QuickPass Agent ID is registered correctly under the location.
- This ensures that the system is linked properly for password automation and management.
- Prepare ThreatLocker in Learning Mode
- Enable Learning Mode for ThreatLocker at the client/location level.
- Learning Mode allows ThreatLocker to observe and record normal application behavior without blocking, which prevents disruptions during setup.
- Run the environment for a sufficient observation period (typically 24–48 hours) to capture legitimate activity.
- Transition from Learning to Enforcement (Post-Setup)
- After the learning period, review the ThreatLocker policies generated.
- Confirm legitimate applications and processes are included.
- Move ThreatLocker from Learning Mode to Enforce Mode to actively block unauthorized or malicious behavior.
